Time Medical International Ventures (India) Private Limited, (“Time Medical”) is proud to announce its selection by the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Department for the supply, delivery, and installation of 65 advanced Digital Radiography Units, in an order valued at ₹9.29 crore (exclusive of GST).
This transformative project will see high-frequency, mobile digital X-ray machines deployed across veterinary centers in every district of Tamil Nadu, supporting over 60 locations and modernizing pet and livestock care statewide. Each system meets rigorous European and Indian standards for quality, performance, and safety—including CE, BIS, AERB, and ISO 13485 certifications—while incorporating state-of-the-art diagnostic features to ensure the best animal healthcare outcomes.
Project Scope and Features
- Deployment: 65 Digital Radiography Units to be supplied, installed, and commissioned for the Tamil Nadu Department of Animal Husbandry within 60 days, covering veterinary hospitals and clinics across all major districts and veterinary polyclinics in the state.
- Technology Leadership: Each unit features a mobile, high-frequency digital X-ray generator with advanced APR systems and a wireless flat panel detector (FPD), providing fast image capture, outstanding clarity, and robust wireless data transfer for on-the-spot diagnostics—even in remote field locations.
- Comprehensive Specification: Units are built to demanding technical standards—offering multi-step kVp and mA selection, digital console, touchscreen interface, anatomical programming, safety features like overload protection, and full-featured radiography tables optimized for animal use. The digital retrofit system includes rapid wireless flat panel detectors, high-sensitivity imaging, and rugged design for daily veterinary requirements.
- Support and Aftercare: The order includes a three-year comprehensive warranty covering all equipment and components, on-site operational training for veterinary professionals, extensive support documentation, and the establishment of at least six technical service centers spread across the state for prompt maintenance and support. There’s a five-year warranty for the digital radiography system, and a commitment to spare parts availability for a minimum of ten years.
