Bengaluru-based clean energy startup Two Point O Capital has raised $10 million in Series A funding in a round led by Transition Venture Capital. Existing investor Omnivore and angel investors Chiranjeev Singh Saluja and Sudhir M Reddy also participated in the round. The company will use the funding to expand its business and support more companies looking to adopt clean energy solutions.
The investment comes at a time when Indian businesses are looking for ways to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency. However, the high initial cost of installing solar panels, battery storage systems and other clean energy equipment remains a challenge for many companies. Two Point O Capital aims to make these solutions more accessible by offering financing and project support.

Funding to Support Clean Energy Expansion
Two Point O Capital plans to use the fresh funding to finance more clean energy projects, strengthen its technology platform and expand its team. The company also wants to reach more commercial and industrial customers across India.
Founded in 2024 by Archit Mehrotra, Karan Bhutani, Manya Ranjan and Shashidhar Reddy, the startup helps businesses adopt renewable energy solutions through financing, equipment leasing and project support.
Its services cover rooftop solar installations, battery energy storage systems and wastewater treatment projects. These solutions are aimed at businesses that want to improve energy efficiency but may not have enough capital to invest in new equipment.
The company is addressing a funding gap in India's clean energy sector. While large renewable energy projects attract significant investment, smaller projects for factories, offices and commercial buildings often find it difficult to secure financing.
Two Point O Capital offers different financing options that allow businesses to install clean energy systems without paying the full cost upfront. This helps companies manage their expenses while moving towards more efficient energy use.
The startup also operates through a non-banking financial company (NBFC) subsidiary that handles loan disbursals. It offers additional leasing and service-based financing arrangements to meet different customer requirements.
Technology and Financing Drive Business Growth
Technology plays an important role in the company's operations. Two Point O Capital uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to assess projects, evaluate financing risks and track the performance of installed equipment.
Its platform helps the company understand the technical and financial requirements of each project before providing funding. It also monitors equipment performance and helps identify maintenance needs. The startup works with equipment manufacturers and engineering, procurement and construction partners to manage installations and ongoing maintenance.
Two Point O Capital has already worked with customers including Premier Energies, Godrej, JK Tyre, Morepen Pharma, Wipro and Phoenix Mills. The company has onboarded around 25 to 30 large customers and recorded 1.5 times sequential growth in assets under management (AUM) in each of the last three quarters.
With the latest investment, the startup plans to enter the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) market and expand its reach across India. It is targeting an AUM of $75 million to $100 million over the next couple of years.

The company is also looking to work with businesses in sectors such as data centres, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and healthcare. These industries consume large amounts of energy and water, creating demand for solutions that can help control operating costs.
For many businesses, the challenge is not simply finding the right technology but also arranging the money needed to install it. Two Point O Capital aims to address this problem by bringing financing, technology and project support together.
The latest funding will help the company reach more businesses and expand its services as demand for clean energy financing continues to grow in India.
