Ather Energy, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has released its fourth-quarter FY25 financial results. In comparison to Q4 FY24, the company's operating revenue increased by 29 percent year over year. The Bengaluru-based company has reduced losses by 17 percent at the same time.
Per its consolidated quarterly report obtained from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Ather's operating revenue climbed by 29 percent to Rs. 676 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 523 crore in Q4 FY24.
Ather Energy's operating revenue for the full fiscal year (FY25) rose 29 percent from Rs. 1,754 crore in FY24 to Rs. 2,255 crore in FY25, indicating steady development in the face of the demand for electrification in the mobility sector.
The majority of the company's expenses were related to materials, which were mostly driven by the purchase of batteries and components. This cost, which accounted for more than 61 percent of the total expenses for the quarter, rose by about 16 percent to Rs. 564 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs. 488 crore in the same period the previous year.
Expenses for employee benefits fell 29 percent year over year to Rs. 109 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs. 154 crore in Q4 FY24. Other operating costs increased by over 47 percent to Rs. 204 crore, while depreciation and amortization costs increased by 18 percent to Rs. 45 crore.
Ather's overall spending increased from Rs. 819 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 922 crore in Q4 FY25, a 13 percent increase.
