Bharti Airtel Posts 37.3% Jump in Q1 Net Profit
Bharti Airtel reported a 37.3% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 8,167 crore for Q1 FY27, with revenue climbing 18.4% to Rs 58,539 crore, supported by strong growth across its India and Africa operations. ARPU improved to Rs 264 from Rs 250 a year earlier, while the company recorded its highest-ever quarterly postpaid additions of 1 million customers. Nykaa's Q1 Profit Triples on Beauty and Fashion Growth
FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent of Nykaa, reported a more than threefold rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 80 crore for the June quarter, up from Rs 23.3 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations grew over 29% year-on-year to Rs 2,782 crore, driven by strong momentum in its beauty and fashion verticals.
LIC Retail OFS Window Opens Today
The retail and employee bidding window for the government's LIC stake sale opens today, a day after the non-retail portion was subscribed 3.32 times on its opening day. Following the strong institutional response, the government decided to exercise the greenshoe option, expanding the total divestment to 6.5% of LIC's equity.
