Swizzle Bags Rs 2Cr Funding After Strong Investor Backing on Ideabaaz

Finance Outlook India Team | Tuesday, 16 December 2025

Bengaluru-based clean-label beverage startup Swizzle has raised ₹2 crore in a Seed round, with the investment finalised on the popular entrepreneurship show Ideabaaz. The round was led by noted angel investors Sooraj Singh, CEO & Founder of Unibots, and Shaili Chopra, Founder of SheThePeople and Gytree. Swizzle secured funding following their pitch and product tasting conducted during the show.

The fresh capital will enable Swizzle to accelerate expansion across high-velocity channels, strengthen its retail and HoReCa footprint, increase production capacity, and scale its team for the next phase of growth. Swizzle is now set to deepen distribution across vending machines, quick commerce platforms, and mass retail. The startup is entering Hyderabad this quarter, while scaling HoReCa operations across Tier 1 cities, with a focus on national chains and premium restaurant groups. To meet rising demand, Swizzle will upgrade its manufacturing capacity from 250 litres per day to 2,000 litres per day, enabling production of up to 40,000 cans per day. The team will also expand from team members across Sales, Operations, and Marketing.

Swizzle’s product portfolio continues to differentiate itself through clean-label innovation. All beverages are made with real fruits and herbs, free from artificial flavours, colours, and chemicals. Upcoming launches include ₹30 PET bottles for wider affordability and Diet Desi Lemonade, a sub-20-calorie drink with no artificial sweeteners or stevia, a first in its category.

The brand’s growth roadmap for the next 12–18 months includes a sharp retail push, with targets to achieve 5,000 retail placements in Bangalore and Hyderabad and expand to 20,000+ outlets nationwide. Swizzle also aims to scale to 7,500 vending machines, 2,000+ HoReCa outlets, and launch across all major quick-commerce platforms with 1,500+ dark stores. Key HoReCa partnerships include Zomoz (70+ outlets) and Chalu Chinese (200+ outlets), with upcoming tie-ups with Wow Momo, CCD Express, and Barista.

“This investment isn’t just capital, it's validation of our belief that India deserves cleaner, better beverages,” said Vrinda Singhal and Deepender Singh, Co-Founders, Swizzle. “Ideabaaz gave us incredible visibility, and this round will help us scale across retail, quick commerce, and HoReCa while staying true to our clean-label philosophy.”

Investor Sooraj Singh, CEO & Founder of Unibots: “I chose to back Swizzle because it delivers exactly what today’s consumers want a genuinely good non-alcoholic drink. The team has cracked the balance of taste, health and convenience.”

On recent funding, investor Shaili Chopra, Founder of SheThePeople and Gytree, added, “My conviction in Swizzle comes from the product and the founders’ clarity. The taste, the clean ingredients, and the standout packaging make Swizzle ready to lead India’s better-for-you beverage movement.”

With this funding and backing from a prominent Ideabaaz investor, Swizzle is poised to redefine India’s beverage landscape, making healthy, natural, and convenient drinks accessible to millions. The startup’s focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability positions it to become a market leader in the rapidly growing clean-label and RTD segment, bringing a fresh and authentic experience to consumers nationwide.
